Consulting Opps for World-Renowned Lab! PeopleSoft Sys Admin; Implementation & Integration

Our client is a world-renowned research laboratory! A PeopleSoft System Administrator/DBA technical contractor is needed to help our client with PeopleTools 8.4x PeopleSoft Internet Architecture projects. The consultant will be responsible for implementing and configuring Integration Broker for use with eProcurement Direct Connect. Additionally, implement and configure PeopleSoft Performance Monitor (PPM) for use in the client?s PIA environment. The individual will advice on best practice and use of PPM and provide knowledge transfer to Business Application Support (BAS) staff. Under the direction of the BAS PeopleSoft Administrator the contractor will implement and complete documentation for design and changes.

 

Experience:

-Strong technical knowledge of a PeopleTools 8.45 or higher PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) in a Windows 2003 server. UNIX Solaris 9 environment and Oracle 9i RDBMS and higher.

-Experience in configuring and implementing Integration Broker and other PeopleSoft integration technologies for use with eProcurement Direct Connect.

-Experience in implementing and using PeopleSoft Performance Monitor (PeopleTools 8.45 and higher) in a physical PIA configuration environment.

-Knowledge and experience in using PeopleSoft/PeopleTools in a secure networking environment.

-Strong communication and training skills.  This position requires extensive knowledge transfer to the BAS Technical staff.

 

Desirable skills:

-Strong knowledge of Change Assistant (PT 8.4x and higher) use and configuration in a secure networking environment

-PeopleTools 8.45 and higher PIA performance and tuning knowledge and experience

 

Candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area/Peninsula will be preferred.
