Contract Instructional Designer

Lumenos, a consumer driven health care company and member of the WellPoint family of companies, has an immediate opening for a Contract Instructional Designer in the Alexandria, VA headquarters offices.? The Instructional Designer will lead the design and development of multiple onsite and interactive multimedia courseware materials for standup and e-learning projects and work directly with customers to determine training requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

????????? Develop, implement, and maintain training scenarios, approaches, objectives, course sequence, outlines, flowcharts, tools, aids, and curriculum.

????????? Create a variety of training deliverables including design documents, projects schedules, storyboards, evaluation materials, and curriculum.

????????? Utilize various iterative process-improvement and best methodologies based on applied psychology, psychometrics, educational measurement, and other related disciplines.

????????? Ensure compliance with SCORM and other regulations, specifications, and standards. ?

QUALIFICATIONS:

?

Required Skills:
Must have a minimum of three years of successful, intensive or progressive experience providing creative development of onsite and distance learning instructional design using instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies and procedures. ?

Desired Skills:
Individual should have knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) including SCORM conformance requirements, and proven skills working collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

Required---Bachelors degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology or related field.
