Coordinator

The Office for Graduate Medical Education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine seeks a Coordinator to assist in the oversight of its sponsored residency programs. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, Mac and Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to transcribe dictated reports.

The responsibilities of the Coordinator will include:

--Performing administrative office functions (phones, filing, typing, etc.)

--Transcribing minutes of committee meetings; preparing mailings and other correspondence; consulting on departmental publications; maintaining up-to-date rosters

--Coordinating meetings; maintaining complex schedules

--Overseeing the Senior Electives Program (for underrepresented minority medical students) and Visiting Physicians Program (for foreign physicians); creating/updating brochure; registering/tracking participants; assisting with arrangements and reimbursements

--Maintaining job listings Website for residents finishing their training

--Preparing documents for periodic accreditation review

--Assisting at departmental events and with residency management software implementation as needed
