Coordinator, Academic Affairs

Overall Responsibility:  Work with Dean of Academic Affairs to help monitor, assess, and improve academic integrity of the activities of JTS?s five schools

 

--Obtain and collect academic information from faculty, department chairs, and others (e.g., syllabi, cv?s, course descriptions, assessment information)

 

--Keep and present the collected information in the proper form (e.g., Access database, print files)

 

--Coordinate material and projects with other departments (e.g., Registrar, Computer Operations Webmaster, Institutional Research, Institutional Advancement)

 

--Work with deans and academic committees to schedule and prepare meetings and reports

 

--Work with Provost?s office to coordinate adjunct faculty appointment letters and schedules

 

--Work with Dean of Academic Affairs on assessment projects (e.g, assessment of syllabi, course evaluations, academic program review)

 

--Initiate new projects to enhance academic rigor

 

--Establish and monitor time-lines for academic projects

 

Qualified candidate will be degreed and have experience in similar role.  Excellent communication skill and organizational are required.
