DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities:
Recruit, select, supervise, develop and evaluate the faculty and academic staff.
Measure the outcome of the educational process to ensure programs meet their objectives and the requirements of the state and accrediting bodies.
Oversee the development of new curricula.
Maintain compliance with accrediting policies in the areas of instruction, curriculum, student satisfactory academic and attendance progress to ensure continued state and accrediting agency licensing.
Develop the academic budget and manage expenditures throughout the year.
Maintain student records.
Review transcripts for college transfer students to determine the acceptability of transfer credits.
Administer the scheduling process to maximize student/teacher ratios and classroom utilization.
Develop and implement retention policies and practices.
Coordinate Advisory Boards, the faculty development process and new student orientation.
Work with Career Services to ensure appropriateness of curricula to address employer needs.

Requirements:
Master's degree.
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a higher education environment.
Previous management experience is preferred.
Excellent leadership skills.
Strong computer skills needed for success
Proprietary school experience preferred
