Established, privately owned learning center needs a dynamic educator who wants to make a big difference in students? lives to head the math department. 

Responsibilities include training and supervising the math tutors, planning and observing math tutoring sessions, handling incoming requests for information about our services, holding parent conferences, and some curriculum development. 

The ideal candidate must have math skills through Algebra II/Trig or higher, be organized, be able to prioritize and work independently, interact well with parents, students, and staff.  Previous experience teaching at a high school or middle school would be very helpful but not required.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Training is provided and insurance is available immediately.

Because this position is in a learning center, the hours are non-traditional.  During the school year the hours are: Monday through Thursday from noon until about 8:45 and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.  Summer hours include morning hours and fewer evening hours.
