Director of Development

The Princeton Review (Nasdaq: REVU) is a leading provider of educational services. In addition, The Princeton Review works with school districts around the U.S. to measurably strengthen students' academic skills by connecting ongoing assessment with professional development and instruction, by offering intervention programs, and by providing districts with college and career resources for both students and guidance counselors. The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.

 

Directors of Development are responsible for selling The Princeton Review (TPR) Supplemental Educational Services (SES) to principals, parents, and students; recruiting, screening, hiring and training site managers, instructors, registration and program aides; and overseeing all phases from start-up to full implementation of TPR tutorial programs.

 

Duties will include:

 Managing stakeholder relationships & Public speakingConstant interaction with principals, teachers and parentsTraveling extensively across various schoolsSupervising student registration and boosting enrollmentManaging instructors and ensuring program qualityManaging curriculum delivery & Conducting interviewsOverseeing effective implementation of TPR incentive programSupervising staff of 25 employees & Managing conflicts and problem solvingConducting Performance Evaluations & Managing P&L

 

Minimum Requirements:

 Bachelor's  required; master's preferredAt least 3-5 years managerial experienceExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) High levels of travel within region and client districts  Excellent Customer service skills are a mustMust have familiarity with and interest in the NYC educational systemSales experience a plus
