DIRECTOR OF GRANTS DEVELOPMENT, #05-07

 

Position/Duties



Under general direction of the President/Superintendent or designee identifies, writes, prepares, and supports grant proposals according to institutional guidelines, goals and priorities. Disseminates information on funding sources and otherwise works with college staff to develop successful grant projects.

 

Coordinate grants projects planning and development activities for the college and its various departments. In collaboration with the Director of Institutional Research, assists college personnel with needs assessments, surveys and other studies to determine eligibility and prospects for grants development. Plan, design and develop grant proposals in support of district-wide goals and priorities. Oversee preparation of reports required by state and federal agencies as well as foundations and other funding sources for grants. Conduct research as assigned by the President/Superintendent or designee on a wide array of external funding prospects related to institutional effectiveness and development.

 

Education

Masters Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work preferred in research design, statistics and data processing.

 

Experience

Three years of related experience in schools, colleges, universities or research facility or agency.
