DIRECTOR OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

 

Pro Marketing Inc. (PMI) is a 22-year-old retail service organization, which employees over 1,150 employees that merchandise departments within home improvement stores in the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest regions.


We are seeking a Director of Training for our corporate office located in Alpharetta GA. Ideal candidate must have 5-7 years experience with a proven track record of formulating policy, identifying training needs, establishing schedules, developing curriculum, and budgeting. Candidate also needs to be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

 

The Director of Training is responsible for succession planning for all levels of the organization, incorporating technology into training i.e. continuing education courses and webinars, constructing creative and effective training programs that include employee relations, benefits and recruiting.  Responsible for developing, motivating and supporting employees for PMI and its subsidiaries and analyzing any turn over trends, ensuring PMI is compliant with OSHA guidelines and working closely with insurance provider. 

 

Must possess strong written and verbal communication, be organized, detail oriented, familiar with safety programs, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, ability to multi-task and be able to work flexible hours.
