Position Summary:
The Education Consultant maintains responsibility for the success of each assigned customer within his/her region as measured by customer satisfaction, customer utilization, customer renewals, customer referrals. The Implementation Consultant maintains the complete ownership for the successful delivery of Kaplan Programs in schools. The Consultant develops strong relationships with customers, creates or modifies the implementation plan to meet their needs. The Consultant ensures all efforts are made during the process to make it the most successful for the customer. The Consultant manages the logistics of student registration, distribution of materials, and program evaluations. The Consultant uses knowledge of the education industry to create additional ways to meet customer demand and to support sales representatives. Requires minimal guidance in the implementation process and exercises broad judgment in modifying the process.

Location: Stockton, Fresno and Sacramento

Key responsibilities include:
o Managing customer relationships through conducting Partnership Planning meetings and creating Partnership Planning Agreement with customers.
o Leading the implementation process; including student, teacher and administrator orientation on Kaplan products.
o Communicating internally as to the status of the implementation, and provides useful feedback from students and school administrators.
o Providing quality reports, accomplishments, and program evaluations
o Conducting customer presentations, teacher training, administrator academy, and student modeling at assigned schools using Kaplan products and services.
o Tracking customer utilization, customer satisfaction and renewal opportunities.
o Supporting Sales Representatives in pre-sales customer presentations by providing information on scope of Kaplan products, adult learning theory and data evaluation. Uses advanced presentation skills.
o Completing weekly status reports to management; completes timely expense reports and other administrative duties as needed.
o Supporting internal relationship between KTP and KLS under the guidance of the Implementation Director.
o Maintaining a regional travel focus and will be required to travel nationally as based on demand and product knowledge.


Qualifications: BA required; MA preferred. Degree in education preferred. Computer literate and able to use word processing and database spreadsheets. Minimum 3-5 years classroom experience or equivalent. Advanced presentations skills required. Knowledgeable about education industry business models, profitability, and adult learning theory. Experience with education industry and business models. Travel Required.
