Education Manager, Higher Education

The College Board, a national educational membership organization, is conducting a search for an Educational Manager who develops meaningful relationships with members of the higher education community in an effort to promote educational equity, access, and excellence for students of all backgrounds. The Educational Manager develops and implements in support of the mission of the College Board, member relationship strategies within a designated region that enhance satisfaction and ensure retention among higher education users, covering admissions, recruitment, and financial aid. This is primarily accomplished through support to higher education users including on-site implementations, best-practices consulting, and dissemination of information on College Board products, services and assessments.  These programs include assessments such as the SAT and AP along with software products such as Recruitment Plus and PowerFAIDS, strategy tools such as ASQ, EPS, FAST, and Profile.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

? Manage service relationships as well as on-site solution implementations for users, assisting users in navigating the service offering, and insuring appropriate response by College Board service providers; interface with internal resources if additional expertise is required to satisfy user needs.

?  Participate in relationship planning activities with the Higher Education team

?Conduct or facilitate workshops, presentations, training and best-practices consulting for external users

?  Maintain records of user contact and prepare reports on progress toward regional goals; coordinate the updating of institutional information related to Higher Education members in central repository.

?  Serve as a member of government relations state teams

?  Support regional associational and membership goals, including governance activities related to regional council and regional forum.

? Maintain working knowledge of all Higher Ed products, services and assessments.

 

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor?s degree with a Graduate or Professional degree preferred. Minimum of five to eight years of related and progressively responsible work experience in a managerial or professional position in education or a related field. Extensive knowledge of the higher education environment with specific emphasis on enrollment management functions. Demonstrated experience in training, project management, problem solving, marketing and ?customer relationship management? (CRM). Familiarity with College Board Services required, experience with these tools preferred. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Position requires up to 70% travel primarily within the Middle States region.
