DESCRIPTION

Learners Online, Inc., a leading publisher of Web-based learning materials focused on educational technology solutions for the K-12 market, is searching for a Sales Representative for its expanding sales division. The successful candidate will sell to both new and existing customers and have a high level of telephone and face to face selling experience, strong communication, and negotiation skills. 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

?Most critically, you are expected to accomplish your sales goals to advance Learners Online?s leadership in the K-12 market.

?Make outbound calls to represent the company?s products and services to customers and prospects.

?Develop working relationships with customers by explaining the features and benefits of products.

?Analyze customer needs and adjust content of sales presentations to meet customer expectations.

?Answer sales service inquiries and manage appropriate action from inbound calls.

?Follow-up on and qualify marketing leads.

?Maintain sales and customer contact databases.

?Serve as a liaison between customers and company departments to resolve customer questions.

?Maintain product / services knowledge.

?Collaborate with other sales consultants.

?Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

 

REQUIREMENTS

?2 to 5 years experience in K-12 materials sales preferred.

?Able to work on the telephone 6+ hours each day.

?Bachelor's Degree is required; Education or Business concentration preferred.

?Proficiency in Microsoft Office, sales databases, and the Internet.

?**Selling to the K-12 education markets gives you a very good advantage for consideration.

This is a salaried position with commission bonuses based on performance.
