GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY LAW CENTER
DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent is responsible for one of the largest academic processes at the Law Center - exams. S/he will be involved in the intricacies of exam administration, including supervising proctors, communicating with professors and students about exam format, and working closely with the Registrars and other Law Center offices to ensure a smooth exam period. The incumbent resolves all student exam conflicts, using good judgement to determine when to reschedule exams. S/he also maintains records of exam deferrals granted by the Registrars. Oversees the exam review process with the Grades Analyst, including collecting and organizing exams, contacting faculty members for any outstanding exams and feedback memos or best exams for student reference, and maintaining a comprehensive list of returned exams, papers, and feedback available for the students.
REQUIREMENTS:
Two to three years of work experience, preferably in higher education or customer service. A bachelor?s degree is required. Candidate must be computer-literate, with advanced skills in WordPerfect, e-mail systems, and PC-based database management programs, such as Microsoft Access, all in a Windows environment. Familiarity with internet research tools is needed. Knowledge of and prior use of SIS+ highly desirable.
