Scope and Responsibilities:

As a vital part of the Franchise Recruitment & Development Department (FRDD), the Franchise Recruitment Member (FRM) will be responsible for managing the sales and qualifying process from initial solicitation of prospect to new franchise opening.  As a FRM, you will track all leads and develop strategies for developing leads in certain geographic areas.  Additional responsibilities include qualify leads based on the Kumon philosophy and current Kumon franchise requirements, conduct Kumon Franchise Seminar and evaluate overall qualifications of applicants before recommending prospective franchisee for Kumon Start-Up Training Program. 

 

Specific Responsibilities:Develop sales and qualifying approaches and strategies for the US West region (including but not limited to territories in and around the Seattle and Phoenix areas)Conduct Kumon Franchise Seminars (KFS).  Effectively communicate Kumon values and philosophy to education minded individuals and ultimately identify and recommend prospects for Kumon Start Up Training ProgramCoordinate and manage prospective franchisees and guide them through our start up processEvaluate proposed geographic location(s) and offer recommendation for approvalProvide research and support for request from franchisees including but not limited to: franchise transfer, relocation of existing franchise, 2nd franchise location request, franchise placement issuesAssist Developer in region with prospective franchisees (PFs) to ensure total support as PFs move through our system for success

 

Requirements:Bachelors Degree or higherStrong knowledge of US franchisingFamiliarity of UFOCStrong presentation skills; comfortable presenting in both large and small groupsExcellent consultative and communication skills both in written and verbal formatsExtremely flexible travel schedule (approx. 50%)Outstanding people management skillsHigh energy, a positive outlook and self confidentExceptional organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects is crucialSelf-disciplined and proactive with ability to work independentlyAble to analyze information and data to make sound decisionsAbility to effectively prioritizeExcel at building immediate rapport with new prospects and existing franchiseesFranchise Sales experience
