Global Accounts Sales Trainer

GENERAL SUMMARY: We are currently seeking qualified candidates to become an integral part of our training organization. As a Global Accounts Sales Trainer, you will deliver new hire and advanced training to enable the teams to achieve assigned sales goals, generate new business, and manage sales funnels.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Delivery


Prepare lesson plans, training aids and manuals relevant to training material




Deliver training sessions on complex/advanced topics including B2B and large account selling skills, cold calling, managing sales funnels, new business generation and prospecting




Deliver train-the-trainer sessions on Area developed materials to other facilitators



Program/Project Management


Manage B2B training program for assigned area, including project planning, curriculum development, training/delivery of train the trainer, and measuring results pre/post implementation




Spend time in the field with Major/Global Account Managers to reinforce key learning from training




Conduct key administrative duties for training program including adhering to all budget guidelines, submitting all necessary reports, etc



Curriculum Development


Develop Area specific training program from conception to implementation




Act as SME for national curriculum development




Identify process by which to determine interventions to best meet the needs of specific situations, and develop training programs and educational tools to address identified needs




Partner with client group to identify program development needs. Analyze learning needs and partner with subject matter experts to provide input for course content




Ensure training materials and programs are effective and user friendly



Assessment Evaluations/Performance Consulting


Effectively manage pre- and post-class activities that promote optimal learning




Conduct performance consulting (including needs assessments) with internal clients to determine appropriate solutions




Build strategic partnerships with sales managers in an effort to bridge gaps in knowledge/skills and to enhance overall training results for each team




Gather feedback from sales team and management to improve content curriculum




Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of key training initiatives. Provide results and feedback to upper management and other internal customers




Assist with ROI and impact to the business analysis to ensure the intended outcome of the program was achieved



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of business sales management or account management experience. In-depth understanding of how to sell to C-level executives. Technically savvy with high-tech tools to create and deliver effective training programs. Demonstrated ability to effectively present content in a variety of delivery formats to diverse audiences. Knowledge of document management industry is a plus. Must have proven track record of achieving sales goals and/or successful account management experience. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.



Minimum 2 years formal or informal facilitation/training experience and knowledge of adult learning theory and assessment. (Candidates with only informal facilitation/training experience will need to demonstrate core presentation skills through hiring process.) Requires strong project management, time management and organizational skills. Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment



Education:

Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience.
