INSTRUCTOR - MICROSOFT OFFICE / BOOKKEEPING

Seeking Candidates:
ProTrain Professional Training Institute is a leader in the industry that provides adult certification training programs in business and bookkeeping. We are seeking organized, energetic and enthusiastic instructors to teach the daytime and evening programs.  If you like sharing your creativity with students, providing hands-on instruction in dedicated computer labs and can create a dynamic student-teacher learning environment with small classes this may be the position for you.

Job Description:
These programs are designed for beginner to intermediate students with a focus on providing the skills necessary for employment. Candidates must be proficient in the following applications using a PC platform; Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks. Business fundamentals such as keyboarding, business writing, customer service and office etiquette are taught as well.

Requirements:
Ideal candidates will posses professional teaching experience.Professionals with related experience will be considered. Candidates must be able to motivate and encourage students and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Teachers provide hands-on classroom instruction, maintain and update course syllabi, assist in developing new curricula, prepare and utilize lesson plans, maintain accurate and timely attendance records and prepare student progress reports and grade reports. 

Job Specifics:
Classroom daytime hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm.  Evening hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00pm to 10:00pm. This curriculum runs throughout the year. This is a per diem, independent contractor position. The pay range is competitive for this industry and vocation, $18-$20 per hour depending on your qualifications and level of teaching experience.
