Ideal P/T Opp for Instructional Designer, North Chicago

  This position will be responsible for the design of a marketing communications-training module. Knowledge of corporate branding is ideal, with some expertise or experience in corporate communications. Key deliverables include: refinement of training module, training support materials such as facilitator guides, user guides, course descriptions, learning games/ activities. Audience for training module will be "crafters" of messages such as product managers, communications professionals and creative vendors. Individual will also partner with creative vendor for creative support of and packaging of module.

This is a 3-4 Months long project, 20hrs/week.

 

Develop learning and performance support solutions

Write course descriptions, announcements and marketing content

Conduct training needs analysis

Write ID plans, reports, status updates

Collect content

Design learning and performance support solutions

Plan and monitor ID methodology and delivery methodology with customer and team

Collaborate with training project manager on ID output review, Outputs: *Curriculum outlines and descriptions *Training programs *Workbooks, manuals, job aids, teaching aids and other print media *Train the trainer materials and aids *Coaching kits *Assessments and evaluations *Storyboards for CBT/WBT  *Learning Games/Activities *Course descriptions *ID templates *ID methodology standards (prefer some experience with Flash and other eLearning authoring tools)

 

-9+ years of experience in Training/Instructional design or related experience.

-Experienced in design for CBT/WBT (computer based training/web based training) training programs

-Experience working with CBT/WBT developers & IT personnel o Coordinate with authors (CBT/WBT and other instructional designers)
