Instructional Designer Trainer

SUMMARY

 

E2open, Inc. would like to hire an Instructional Designer/Trainer experienced in developing and delivering software training materials for end-users. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written English skills, the capability to independently develop training materials, and be able to travel internationally to deliver training.  Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of global supply chain practices.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

?  Engage with E2open customers and partners to develop end-user training materials including presentations, demonstrations, and exercises.  Solicit feedback on training materials and revise materials as necessary.

?  Deliver classroom and web-based training to E2open customers and partners.

?  Develop end-user support materials such as online tutorials, work instructions, and quick reference guides.

?  Design material layouts and templates.

?  Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback on project training activities to Education and Training Manager and make recommendations for improvements to training tasks and deliverables.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

?  Independent Worker - as a member of the E2open Education and Training Group, you must be able to work independently and manage your own projects and learn new technologies with minimal supervision.

?  Excellent English Skills - you will be developing training materials that will be used to train native and non-native English speakers around the globe.

?  Supply Chain Knowledge ? fluency in Forecasting, Inventory, and Order processes as they are applied in global supply chains is an asset.

?  Flexible Team Player ? E2open is a dynamic, fast paced, growing company.  You must be team-oriented with a proven ability to multi-task and a willingness to react quickly to change as is necessary to support business requirements.

?  Travel - travel up to 25% may be required.

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

?  BA/MA in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or equivalent experience

?  2-4 years developing enterprise software training materials

?  Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills

?  Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

?  Experience at a global software or consulting firm is an asset
