Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Instructional Designer/Training Developer will work with process owners and subject matter experts to design and develop technical training materials for enterprise IT projects including financial planning and reporting and ERP systems. Using standard instructional design methodologies and processes, templates, models, and writing guidelines, he/she will create and support delivery of custom learning programs for all impacted target audiences including corporate and line finance, project controls, procurement, materials management, payroll and labor/resources management.

Required Skills:
? Ability to use the instructional design processes to develop blended learning programs, print-based, multi-media or web-based courseware and performance support materials in a deadline-driven corporate setting.
? 4-6 years experience as an instructional designer or course developer, designing and developing learning programs for large corporate business process and enterprise-level IT projects. ERP system experience preferred.
? Utilize methods to glean instructional content efficiently in working with subject matter experts in a technical environment. ? Experience designing and developing business process training programs preferred.
? Highly proficient use of system simulation and demonstration tools as well as web-based training development tools including Adobe Captivate (or equivalent) and RoboHelp. Macromedia Flash and HTML development experience a plus.
? Expert use of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
? Must have considerable experience working in a deadline driven, team environment.
? Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, project and self-management skills, and relationship building skills.
? Reports progress, identifies risks, needs and mitigations to immediate supervisor (project lead level).
? Demonstrate strong writing skills and application of basic grammar, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure. Ability to write in styles appropriate for various learning delivery modes.
? Some travel may be required.

Desired Skills:
Experience with Deltek or Hyperian products desired. Six Sigma/Lean Process experience a plus. Experience in a government contracting/federal procurement environment preferred.

Education:
Bachelor?s degree required. Masters in Instructional Design preferred.
