SUMMARY: Learning Facilitator - National Education
The successful candidate will deliver quality instructional services to new-hire and current Service Center associates to ensure associate competence and confidence in their functional roles and to support ever-changing processes and content for effective service to Humana clients.
The successful candidate will maintain functional proficiency in the content areas of instructional expertise; collaborate with policy development, performance, and curriculum consultants for effectiveness of those support areas; interface effectively with operations leaders and national education team members to constantly enhance and implement instructional initiatives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Learning Facilitator - National Education

Ability to address instructional needs of adult learners in tradition and non-traditional settings

Ability to effectively and creatively manage classroom dynamics to maintain an optimal learning environment

Functional knowledge of MS Office applications

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent presentation, learning facilitation, and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree - preferred - or equivalent experience

Availability to travel up to 30% of time and to work a flexible work schedule which may include weekends and/or evenings - required

Experience in a training role in business or academic setting and/or in coordinating workshops and seminars - required

Experience in a claims and/or calls service environment - preferred

Openness to embrace change and demonstrate flexibility

ROLE PROFILE: Learning Facilitator - National Education
Plans, coordinates, and conducts all aspects of operational training in an assigned functional area. Facilitates training up to 70% of time. Collaborates in building organizational capability to achieve business objectives and strategies by enhancing the organization's effectiveness and performance. Engages associates in the learning mode while serving as role model and providing leadership and coaching for performance. Interacts with internal operational partners to create and maintain positive relationships for assessing training effectiveness and recommending appropriate solutions to maximize associate development. Conducts evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and makes/recommends modifications as necessary and to provide learner feedback for performance success. May also support development of complex training programs in response to organizational needs.
