Learning and Development Consultant (Trainer)

**Must have hands on training experience with strong instructional design background. **

 

This position is responsible for performing needs analysis and recommending learning and development solutions for internal customers, dealers and other personnel. Will design, develop, and deliver job specific and soft skill training programs.  Programs will be delivered via standard classroom as well as distance learning technologies. Will design and develop instructional materials, job aids and documentation products. Will prepare materials for the production of courseware in traditional and multi-media presentations for classroom, distance technologies, CBT, and self-study.  Will facilitate instructor led and virtual training classes.  Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.  Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, computer science, instructional design, adult/secondary education or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required. Continued education is a plus. 5+ years experience in training and development.  Training facilitation skills, creativity and experience with desktop publishing tools are required. Outstanding verbal, written, multitasking and presentation skills. Demonstrated success with the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate training needs and programs to senior leaders, and communicate, develop and drive effective training programs for employee base. Strong project management skills. Advanced MS Office Skills. Excellent problem solving skills, must be results driven and understand sense of urgency. Travel is required.
