Manager, Corporate Training and Development
North Wales, PA

The selected candidate will effectively manage assigned activities of the Corporate Training and Development Department in a manner assuring that employees receive the requisite knowledge, guidance, and experience needed to fulfill their job responsibilities in accordance with the quality standards required by ICON. In this role, you will directly manage departmental staff and administrative support activities; manage the coordination of in-house training activities and provide continuous education and training to employees appropriate to their position and job responsibilities in accordance with SOPs/WPS, SSPs, GCPs and regulations; complete departmental projects as assigned; and liaise with Corporate Trainers and senior project team members to review study specific training objectives. Additionally, you will manage the review and quality control audit activities of the training records; coordinate new employee induction activities; inform management of training issues; liaise with Quality Assurance and Business Development on client audit/client presentation training issues; manage training services provided by external training vendors; liaise with clients on ongoing and future project-related training issues; and liaise with global training counterparts on training issues.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree along with an extensive background in clinical research focused on Data Management responsibilities and at least 3 years of appropriate training experience. The ability to coordinate all aspects of corporate training and to liaise successfully with study project teams, staff and management in operational and service departments is required. Must have good oral/written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated good presentation skills. Excellent PC skills and a valid driver?s license are essential.
