We are searching for a Manager of Academics for the Kaplan Center in beautiful Stamford!  The Manager will supervise all teacher-related issues, as well as staff training for the area.

Responsibilities:


-Continually enhance area teacher quality by managing all teacher related issues, including recruiting, auditioning, training, scheduling, and observing teachers.
-Managing the creation and delivery of course schedules.
-Managing the assimilation of new course materials into curriculum, as well as the dissemination of information about course changes, updates, additions, etc.
-Budget responsibilities.
-Supervise Teacher-Trainers and create monthly training schedules.
-Regularly monitor teacher performance and student evaluations for all classes.
-Create and implement staff-training sessions.

 Requirements:


-Bachelors Degree
-Experience in education, teaching and/or curriculum development
-Strong management and team motivation skills
-Problem solving, decision making and creative thinking abilities
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills
-Good organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details
-Diligent work ethic
-Customer service expertise
-High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
