Medical Device Training Specialist

Accuray Inc. is an exciting medical device company whose primary objective is the development of the CyberKnife Image-Guided Stereotactic Radiosurgery System. We are currently looking for a Training Specialist to become a member of our dynamic team.



Responsibilities

Ability to learn and train customers on the technical operation  and clinical application of the CyberKnife

Work closely with the marketing and sales groups

Actively participate in the training workshops and programs for internal and external customers

Provide follow-up technical and clinical training supporting  Accuray's commitment to ongoing customer support

Review and recommend revisions in training methods to facilitate the production of continually improved and updated training programs and materials

Assist in developing training support materials

Actively participate in Marketing product exhibits & trade shows


Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in customer/technical training

BA/BS required

Previous medical device industry and/or radiation therapy/dosimetry experience preferred

Must be highly organized and possess excellent verbal/written communication,  time management and presentation skills

Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects with deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with a wide range of people with diverse cultural background, including surgeons and medical representatives

Cross-cultural communication skills a plus

Knowledge of foreign language(s) a definite plus

Some travel required
