Medicare Trainer

 

Responsibilities and Functions:

 Plan, organize, and present classroom and field training and re-training sessions for Medicare Marketing staff.  Provide individual on-site coaching as needed.  Develop appropriate evaluation and testing materials for all training activities and provide individualized feedback to Marketing management.

 Maintain the training programs and materials so that they are aligned with up-to-date management strategies, general business needs, and current New York State Medicare regulatory requirements for the dual eligible population. 

 

Qualifications: Minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.All Candidates MUST have a thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements associated with Medicare plans for the dual eligible population. Minimum of three (3) years of health-related / managed care experience.Three years sales, leadership, product, technical program facilitation and curriculum development experience in a corporate or field setting.  Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory.
