The New Horizons network provides students more ways to learn, more courses at more times and in more locations than any other company in the industry.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Answer student questions
2. Guide students through computer-based basic, intermediate and advanced application and technical self-study programs
3. Troubleshoot computer issues for students
4. Work with IT department to ensure equipment is functioning properly
5. Perform other duties and tasks as designated by the Training Manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
We currently have two part-time, evening positions available, one in Burbank and one in Culver City for candidates with well-rounded applications knowledge and technical background. Natural teaching/mentoring abilities. Must be flexible - able to work with several students at one time who are working on different technologies. The successful candidate will have the following skills: IT Network Infrastructure, especially Microsoft; MCDBA, MCSD, MCSE, MCT; Cisco Switches and Router technologies; Oracle Admin or Developer; Web Developer.
