National Sales Trainer, Immunoassay

Responsibilities:
The Incumbent is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and implementation of training programs to support the Immunoassay Product Line. The incumbent will interface closely with sales and marketing management to identify selling skills and product training needs. By applying appropriate learning metrics, the incumbent will continually evaluate the effectiveness of all training modules, ensure that they adhere to adult learning principles, and are aligned with agreed upon business objectives. The incumbent will also work closely with Area Sales Trainers to ensure that all sales trainees are progressing toward, and ultimately meeting, the required developmental objectives.

Skills:
The incumbent must have a proven track record of success in diagnostic sales. Additionally, advanced written / oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation / facilitation skills are required. The incumbent must be capable of functioning at a very high level independently, as well as in a team environment. Finally, the incumbent must possess the skills required to lead and motivate trainees, peers, and colleagues of all functional areas.

Education & Typical Experience:
Typical education would be a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Science with 3 - 6 yrs. experience.

Additional Information:
This position is based in Tarrytown, and requires approximately 20-30% travel.
