We are different from other Institutes.  We only teach adults.  We focus on conversational English rather than grammar.  We have done extensive research and have come up with our own practical and effective methods of teaching conversational English.  This unique method is very easy to learn, and we have successfully taught this method to our instructors. The goal of Modern English Studio is to have our students speak English fluently.

 

Job Description:

You will be teaching conversational English to very enthusiastic and eager students.  We provide all the training necessary to teach our students. 

 

*Teaching hours:  25 to 35 hours/week maximum includes time spent in the office.

*Weekend:  Free weekends

*Class Size: 9 students maximum 

*Contract term: 6 months or 1 year and renewable.

*Salary: 2 million won to 2.7 million won/month, depending on hours worked.

(About $2,000.00 to $2,700.00/month)

*Salary tax rate: 3.5 to 5% with these tax rates, you are making about $34,000.00 to $40,000.00 in America.

*Accommodations:  Free private and furnished accommodations provided.  That?s right, you get your own room.

*Airfare:  Paid one-way airfare to Korea.  Upon completion of contract, we pay for your return airfare back home.

*Medical Care:  Paid 100% National Medical Insurance.  We have one of the most comprehensive medical coverage?s available to our employees.  Other companies only cover 50% of medical insurance.

*National Pension Fund

 

BONUSES

 

6-Month Contract Bonuses

*Paid airfare to Korea

*Vacation:  14 days paid vacation, plus all national holidays.

*Company dinner once a month.

*Guided tour of Korea once a month.

*Paid 6 days tour of Asia (Choice of Bali, Phuket, Hong Kong or Japan)

*Paid return airfare back home upon completion of contract.

 

1-Year Contract Bonuses

*Paid airfare to Korea.

*Vacation:  28 days paid vacation, plus all national holidays.

*Company dinner once a month.

*Guided tour of Korea once a month.

*Paid 6 days tour of Asia (Choice of Bali, Phuket, Hong Kong or Japan)

*Free roundtrip airline ticket visiting back home during the winter holidays. (12/23 ? 1/7)

*$6,000.00 bonus after completion of 1-year contract.

*Paid return airfare back home upon completion of 1-year contract.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must be a native English speaker as well as speaking and writing.  Bachelor?s degree or higher required.  Prior teaching experience preferred but not a requirement.  Through our proven method, Modern English Studio will train you to teach English effectively to our students.  We are looking for people who are positive, creative, passionate about life and have excellent communication skills.
