Huntington offers tutoring, remediation, enrichment and SAT and State exam preparation, with an emphasis on the basic reading, writing, math and study skills. 

 

We have immediate part-time openings for teachers prepared to teach Reading, Math, and SAT higher math and verbal skills. We also seek those with specific subject expertise such as foreign languages, Chemistry, etc. We encourage those who have a strong desire to make a difference in a child?s life and are driven to be part of this growing company to apply. Huntington Learning Center offers an exceptional learning and teaching environment that will provide students with skills that will last a lifetime. Teachers have no lesson planning, no homework, and will be working with motivated students in an individualized environment.

 

We offer you: Flexible and convenient schedules ? primarily after-school hours & weekends. Increased hours during the Summer months A focus on teaching without requirements for lesson plan creation, grading papers or parent conferences Small student-to-teacher ratio; 1:1 for SAT prep A great environment for current teachers, recent  graduates or retired teachers as well as industry professionals that have been certified to teach in any State.  (Note: pre-employment SAT exam performance required for SAT instructors.) Paid training $10 -15/hour pay level

 

 We require of you:A passion for teaching Bachelor?s degree in education or related field State teaching certification Excellent student interaction skills in small group and 1-1 settings Available to work at least 2-3 days (after-school) per week, including two Saturdays a month. Additional hours during the summer. Positive background check
