Come grow with us. Sylvan Learning Center, the world?s leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking a Director of Education.  To be considered for this position you MUST have a teaching certificate.  Reporting to the Center Director you will:

 

<UL> <li> Hire, manage and train instructors

<li> Communicate with parents and teachers

<li> Create and administer student progress tests and develop incentive plans

<li> Create and maintain an environment conducive to learning

<li> Provide positive reinforcement and motivate students

<li> Evening and weekend hours are necessary

Qualifications

 

<UL> <li> Bachelor?s degree in education

<li> State certification - REQUIRED

<li> 2+ years? teaching/education experience

<li> Business and sales experience, managerial skills

<li> Strong communication skills

<li> Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment

As a member of the Educate, Inc. team, you will enjoy a pleasant work environment.  Compensation is $10-13/hour depending on experience.  FLEXIBLE work hours 15-29 hours per week.<p>
