Come grow with us! Sylvan Learning Center, the world?s leading provider of supplemental education, is seeking Part-Time Instructors for day, evening and weekend instruction.  As an Instructor reporting to the Director of Education, you will:

 

- Teach students in a 3:1 student-teacher ratio setting

- Use pre-planned lessons

- Use proven methods developed by educators

- Use familiar materials approved by schools

- Motivate students of all ages to excel academically

- Benefit from career advancement opportunities.

- Specific subject areas include:

- Reading (all levels)

- Writing (all levels)

- Math (elementary through Algebra 1 & 2 and Geometry)

- Study Skills

- SAT/ACT Preparation.

 Additional Requirements:

Previous tutoring experience preferred.  For math instructors, experience tutoring Algebra and Geometry a PLUS!  BA/BS Degree is required for all positions.  State Certification required for non-mathematic instructors.
