Part-Time Retail Support Rep

Are you looking for a great new opportunity working with a company in the exciting retail industry? If so, MarketStar Corporation has just the opportunity for you. We are looking for a PART-TIME Retail Support Rep in the Phoenix area to represent a major player in the housewares industry.

This position exists to support and fulfill the needs of the client in specific retail locations in and around the Phoenix area. The rep would be responsible for managing and growing a positive relationship and focusing on all sales activities of products with assigned retail stores in the assigned territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:
* Maintain a specific and primary focus on assisting and enhancing sales
* Train retail sales reps/managers on the benefits and features of the product.
* As necessary, perform assisted sales events or other Grand Opening trainings at key retail locations, demonstrate and sell products to end-users.
*Conduct both formal (classroom style) and informal (on the sales floor) trainings. Training will include, but will not be limited to: product info, competitive selling skills, consultative selling, feature/benefit selling, etc.
* Ensure that POP materials are properly displayed and in good working condition.
* Ensure that products are properly displayed and merchandised to plan
* Collect and report store visit data in electronic call reports.
* Manage their territory - training/sales calls, assisted selling hours, set special event schedules, etc.
* Travel within designated territory as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree preferred
* Excellent sales, presentation and communication skills.
* Previous retail selling experience preferred.
* Sound time management and organizational skills.
* Must be highly reliable and pay attention to detail.
* Strong computer skills (database, MS Office, etc.)
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Must reside in a centrally located area with respect to the assigned territory.
* Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
* Travel required
