CSC Julex Learning is an approved Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Supplemental Educational Services (SES) provider, offering academic support in Reading and Math to elementary school students, grades 1st ? 8th. Community Outreach Program Support Staff:  Minimum 2+ years in supporting community-based programs - communicating with parents and high-level professionals; conducting community outreach activities to promote programs; coordinating workshops;  and providing general administrative support. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with the Latino education community and possess excellent written/verbal communication and people skills; excellent organizational skills; proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications; reliable transportation; and can work in a fast-paced environment.  Bilingual ? fluent in speaking and writing in Spanish & English is required!

 

Site Managers:  Minimum 5+ years experience in teaching or working with grade-school students.  Desired candidates are energetic, highly organized and possess strong leadership abilities.  Site Managers are responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Julex After-School Program at their assigned site.  They will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor?s degree in Education; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Word; proficient in use of e-mail; reliable transportation; and can work in a fast-paced environment.  Bilingual ? fluent in Spanish & English is a competitive plus!

 

Tutors:  Tutors are the life-blood of an effective tutoring program!  Tutors are responsible for motivating and encouraging students to improve academic performance.  Desired candidates, at a minimum, will possess a Bachelor?s in Education; 3+ years teaching or working with grade-school students struggling with reading or math; strong classroom management skills; supporting English Language Learners (ELLs); using computers to support instruction; excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; proficient in use of e-mail; and reliable transportation.  Bilingual ? fluent in Spanish & English is a competitive plus!
