Regional Nursing Director

Are you a dynamic Master?s prepared RN looking for an opportunity to oversee all of our nursing programs at our campuses throughout the Virginia?  Working in coordination with the Director of Nursing and Allied Health you will manage multiple nursing programs and their program coordinators.  As the Regional Nursing Director, you will standardize current programs; as well as recommend, develop, and implement multiple activities in support of LVN/ADN Nursing education program initiatives.  You will work from an office that located convenient at our Alexandria campus.  You will be reporting to the Director of Nursing and Allied Health located in our Chicago headquarters. You will be doing significant travel within Maryland and the Southeast to interact directly with the program coordinators.

 

What you will do:

? Ensure development, implementation and maintenance of multiple LVN and RN programs.

? Work in coordination with Program Directors and Executive Directors.

? Monitor, track and report clinical site management and development for existing and new programs.

? Ensuring staff compliance with regulatory and corporate directives, policies and procedures.

? Supervise multiple Program Coordinators (LVN/ADN) programs

? Coordinate and drive research, development and implementation of new programs and revisions.

? Implement oversight of nursing programs, managing resources, minimizing costs, and promoting team work.

 

Essential skills and experience you will need:

Masters Degree in Nursing

Must be licensed RN in Virginia or Maryland.

Appropriate academic and experiential qualifications in LVN/ADN Nursing education programs

Knowledge of Virginia Board of Nursing and Board of Vocational Nursing regulations

Experience managing multiple programs with the ability to see the ?big picture?

Experience managing clinical quality and compliance

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Must possess superior interpersonal communication abilities, be a team player, and have the ability to interface with campus and corporate leadership.
