Senior Vice President, Program Development and Training

This position supports and evolves the vision for company-wide transformational continuous improvement solutions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the strategy for Countrywide Financial Corporation?s project management and process improvement methodology programs.
- Assessing existing continuous improvement programs, methodologies, tools and training against evolving business needs and strategies.
- Overseeing the development of the programs, building out plans against project management and continuous improvement goals, overseeing their implementation, and developing/tracking performance metrics.
- Overseeing the continuous improvement and project management reward and recognition programs and working with marketing to publicize our programs throughout the company.

A successful candidate will have:
- Undergraduate degree.
- 15+ years experience with continuous process improvement and project management.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Exposure to large program implementation.
- Familiarity with one or more continuous process improvement methodologies.
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with senior management.
- Ability to effectively engage with and present to all levels of management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Resourcefulness and innovative problem solving abilities.
- Comfort in operating in the absence of formal structure.

The ideal candidate may also possess:
- MBA.
- PMI or Six Sigma certification.
- PMO experience.
