Site Administrator and Site Coordinator

Both the Site Administrator/Coordinator position is a schoold based position under the supervision of the Principal in the assigned school site and works under the management of the Director of ELECT.

 

Responisibilites include but not limited to:

 Developing an individualized academic success plan for each participant implementing the case management process for each participant. Complete montly reports for PA Department of Welfare and Project Success. Assist in identifying child care services and providers. making social service referrals, following-up outcomes, updating student profiles. Conducting intake interviews Working closely with teachers, roster office, counselors, families higher level institutions to achieve program goals for students. Developing plans to accumulate needed credits for graduation. Conducting workshops and presentations, including identifying and scheduling outside presenters (topics include: health & nutrition, family planning, parenting skills, substance abuse prevention, violence prevention, and preparing children for school). Conducting small group and individual counseling sessions and developing peer support groups.

 

Requirements:

 Experience working with adolescents or programs within schools. knowledge of School District policies for education. Knowledge of the County Assistance programs and community resources. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Qualifictions:

 Completion of Bachelor Degree (Social Work, Psychology preferred) from an accredited college or university.
