Job Description:

Jacksonville School for Children with Autism is interviewing experienced teachers and teacher trainees for positions working with elementary school age children. 

 

Full and part-time positions available

Certifications not required and training available

 

Important qualities:Energetic Dependable Ability to think ?outside the box? Self-starter

 

Trainee positions are ideal for college students and recent grads in the fields of psychology, special education, and health-related fields.  The field of autism offers a huge growth potential for those who are interested in seeking additional training. 

 

Jacksonville School for Children with Autism:

We are a non-profit private school serving children with autism and developmental disabilities.  Our focus is developing each child?s potential by improving communication, academic, social and life skills.  We utilize an integrative model incorporating applied behavior analysis, the rapid prompting method, occupational therapy, picture schedules, and assistive technology.
