General Description: The incumbent will be responsible for creating, monitoring, implementing and delivering training programs to all personnel involved with Manufacturing Operations and support functions within the ASPEX Manufacturing/Quality Assurance/Engineering and Engineering groups.

Assuring all GMP, GDP, ISO and safety requirements related to training are met; serving as a liaison with Corporate Learning & Development for employee development needs.

Developing and maintaining a training library; recruiting non-exempt positions as assigned; and leading teams in problem solving focus groups such as AVAM or Exception Management meetings.

Position requires ability to support off shift training needs.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, engineering, human resource or science discipline, plus five or more years training manufacturing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry, and complete familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and all ISO standards. Required skills include knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, manufacturing procedures and production lines; ability to understand and effectively apply the principles of adult learning patterns; ability to interact and communicate effectively with all job levels and be instrumental in bridging cultural differences between various job levels within the organization; ability to coordinate garbing program, requiring ability to enter sterile fill areas.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in education, engineering, human resources, or science discipline, plus two or more years of manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including two years supervisory or training experience. Management training and training effectiveness experience is preferred.
