JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Student Assistance, the Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) will provide comprehensive financial advising to the students throughout their academic careers at Post University while also serving as the students? liaisons with registration, academic advising, and other areas of campus. The SAC will explain, package, and process the students? financial aid awards and loans and will advise the student on other resources for financing their education. Also, the SAC is responsible for the account management of their assigned students with regards to billing, payments and collections. In addition, the SAC assists students with the registration process including but not limited to initial registration and/or changes in registration. The SAC must work collaboratively with fellow SACs to manage and maintain files for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS
? Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience required.
? Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
? Computer experience with Microsoft Office applications and Higher Education software platforms
? Experience in academic, financial aid counseling, and/or accounts receivable preferred
? A complete understanding of and commitment to excellent customer service and confidentiality
