Student Finance Representative

DeVry Inc. (NYSE: DV) is the holding company for DeVry University, Ross University, Chamberlain College of Nursing and Becker Professional Review. DeVry University, which includes Keller Graduate School of Management, offers associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs in technology, business and management. Ross University, through its schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, offers both doctor of medicine and doctor of veterinary medicine degrees. Chamberlain College of Nursing offers associate and bachelor?s degree programs in nursing. Becker Professional Review, which includes Stalla CFA Review, provides preparatory coursework for the certified public accountant, certified management accountant and chartered financial analyst exams. DeVry Inc. is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of eFinance, provides support for the student account area of the eFinance department. The position includes invoicing agencies for both DeVry and Keller students, following-up and responding to billing inquiries, reviewing eligibility and posting tuition reductions, reconciling tuition for DeVry and Keller, and ordering supplies for eFinance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Invoices agencies for both DeVry and Keller.

2. Reviews scholarship and employee waiver eligibility.

3. Posts tuition reductions.

4. Reconciles tuition for DeVry and Keller.

5. Orders supplies for eFinance on a monthly basis.

6. Understands transaction postings as they relate to student accounts.

7. Develops an effective and efficient system for invoicing, account postings, reconciliation and supply ordering.

8. Runs and processes reports required to post tuition reductions.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

? Minimum requirements include a Bachelor?s degree or equivalent direct experience in student accounts/data entry/reconciliation.

? Excellent verbal and communication skills.

? Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

? Consistent attention to detail and follow-up.

? Must be a team player.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment.

? Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

? Well-developed organizational skills.

? Computer literate and comfortable with all Microsoft Office 2000 programs.

? Excellent math and analytical skills.

? AS400 and/or Oracle program experience is a plus.
