The Position:

We seek professional, experienced and educated individuals to serve as Lead and Assistant Teachers in our day care and before/after school learning centers.  Ideal candidates will have some experienceand ecucation in early childhood development, exhibit positive adult-child interactions, exhibit professional and supportive relationships with co-workers and management, and demonstrate effectrive communication skills with the children and parents who participate in our program.

 

We provide a loving, fun and safe learning environment for the children of our community.  Our teachers must maintain our program standards by ensuring age-appropriate curriculums, daily routines and activity plans that encourage emotional, intellectual, and physical development.  We seek individuals who posses a high degree of ethical conduct, personal integrity and caring for children.

 

The Requirements:

Lead Teacher:NC Early Childhood Credentials or equivalent required.

 AAS or BA/BS Degree EarlyChildhood /Child

 Development prefered.

Assistant Teacher:High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 NC Early Childhood Credentials or equivalent

 preferred

 

Lead and Assistant:Provide a child-centered learning environment.Plan age-appropriate daily routines (schedules and activity plans).Ensure a safe environment for children.Develop positive, professional and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.Demonstrate initiative and flexibility.Strive for professional growth and development.Adhere to employment policies of the orginization.
