We prepare for our third year as a leading middle school in our area and continue our objective to operate a school that will significantly out perform other public schools in the area in preparing students to succeed in secondary and post-secondary education.  Students like learning here, and teachers like teaching at Century Community Charter School.

 

Talented and passionate California credential teachers needed with single subject discipline; Spanish (part time), English(full-time), Social Studies(full time), Music(part time), Science(full time), Performing Arts (full time) and Math for grades 6,7, and 8.  Special Education professionals also needed.

 

Job responsibilities include assigning in the development of curriculum, overseeing the classroom on a daily basis, monitoring student progress, and working with school administration to assure the success of the student.  Instructional Aides are available for all classrooms.

 

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree from an  accredited college, successful completion of the CBEST, and CSET in the subject of interest.  Experience with No Child Left Behind highly desirable. 

 

Experienced in working with at-risk children would contribute to success in this position. Must be able to  pass background screening required for teaching profession, including live scan fingerprinting.
