Reports to: Manager, Commercial Training Position SummaryThe Trainer II is responsible for conducting and facilitating general and specific training courses for company associates at a Sales Center.  Provides orientation and training on new course materials.  Selects appropriate training aids.  Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material.  Maintains training records.  Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements. With management’s and/or Trainer III input, designs and develops programs as needs develop within a location. Position Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as those concerned with on-the-job training, sales techniques, leadership development, telephone etiquette and other developmental skills identified through need assessment for the Center. Provide specialized training in a particular subject area of expertise, such as: sales training programs on PTS (Professional Telesales Skills), PSC (Professional Sales Coaching), PSN (Professional Sales Negotiations), and others.
Provide coaching and feedback to trainees, track performance, instill company mission and values, and acclimate associates to their appropriate company environment.
Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations and workshops.
Select or develop teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works, with Manager and/or Trainer III review for compliance specific to location needs.
Monitor and maintain training validity by comparing and exploring test results of exercises in the training environment to job performance.
Confer with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training for associates to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
Remain abreast of training and development activities, techniques, and strategies to ensure that development and training keeps pace with the industry.

Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary. Quantitative DimensionsThis position is responsible for conducting and analyzing training processes and programs to 200+ entry level outside sales and/or telesales associates in a location annually. The position is also responsible for ongoing training, coaching and evaluation to over 600 associates in these sales groups annually.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years direct experience in training on the subject area (i.e., customer service, sales, etc.)
Experience and/or education in adult learning principles preferred
Experience and/or education in platform training preferred
General office experience and/or knowledge of office principles needed, including internet knowledge
Excellent knowledge of operating computer systems and software programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
