JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Training Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of the annual master curriculum development and training delivery calendar along with coordination of the inventory of training needs and requirements.  This position will be responsible for ensuring that division wide policies and procedures are maintained in a central repository and are current.  The coordinator will generate registration, course completion and certification reports to distribute to management.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:

 In collaboration with department members, gather information necessary to maintain and distribute an annual calendar of all training delivered to MHN associates, and the corresponding deadlines for curriculum development.Work with points of contact within each business department to ensure that policies and procedures are updated and stored in a centralized database for curriculum development purposes.Maintain styles, design guidelines and glossary of terms for curriculum delivery at MHN.Schedule and track all certifications for training programs and or positions with certification requirements.Maintains cost accounting information for the department, including internal and external supplier resources.  Other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Certification/License:

N/A

 

Experience:

Prefer prior experience in coordinating large-scale training programs or logistics-based projects.

Prior experience coordinating vendor/supplier base program elements.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications with knowledge of Activate, Macromedia and Flash programs.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent knowledge of grammar, punctuation with the ability to edit training materials.Professional telephone skills.Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with staff at all levels.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.Knowledge and ability to perform administrative office functions to include typing, copying, and filing.
