POSITION SUMMARY

HP Financial Services (HPFS) is seeking a training professional with at least five years experience in designing, developing and delivering learning solutions in a financial services environment, preferably in the leasing industry.  The Training Developer will develop and deploy training programs for the financial leasing process.  This role will be responsible for the entire training process and will work with the HPFS Team in designing learning systems for financial processes and the systems that support that.  In addition, this role will be responsible (20%) for designing and developing learning solutions for operations (Customer Delivery) systems and processes.

 

Responsibilities

Major responsibilities will include designing sales and lease operations learning solutions using a wide range of delivery methods (distance learning, eLearning, classroom training.) Must be able to do a complete needs assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions for Sales and operations critical business requirements.  Must be skilled at identifying appropriate medium to use to deliver information effectively and efficiently.  Qualified candidate will:
 Consult with team leaders and subject matter experts to gain knowledge of sales and marketing issues, business issues, work processes, systems and development needs for target audiences.
 Assess need and develop solution for learning needs of sales colleagues and operations colleagues.
Create full learning solutions incorporating appropriate instructional techniques and methods (including job aids).
Develop learning solutions such as handouts, website, manuals/procedures, multimedia visuals, tutorials and other reference materials.
Deliver sales specific training and systems training as needed.
Coordinate training sessions at various organizational locations.
Support global operations training by supporting in-country training support.
Prepare reports tracking attendance, costs and usage of programs.
Work as part of a learning team, promote best practices and assist with the implementation of other business initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES
eLearning skills (Dreamweaver, Captivate, Flash)
Consulting (Organizational Effectiveness) skills
Demonstrated writing proficiency
Ability to learn multiple systems and processes quickly
Experience in Adult Learning and Course/Curriculum design
Full knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a requirement
Experience in training and documentation
