OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Will be responsible for the organization, content and administration of all Engineering-specific Product Development training programs.

 

 

 POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Establish methods for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities.

? Ensure that each employee understands their job function and the GMP requirements pertaining to that particular job function, including how the job relates to the overall quality system (excluding Manager ? Training ? IS).

? Assist presenters with instructional techniques that produce the best results with adult learners.

? Assist presenters with planning, designing and evaluating training.

? Sets and maintains the schedule for all Product Development training classes.

? Coordinates all aspects of the training classes (faculty, curriculum, etc.).

? Conducts instruction during the training classes.

? Consistently strives to improve the training programs via course evaluations and critiques.

? Ensures all training records are current and properly maintained.

? Identifies, evaluates, and coordinates outside training programs.

? Identifies need for and implements programs to support individual and organizational development plans.

? Designs and develops training and educational programs to meet the new hire introductory training as well as the advanced training needs of Product Development Engineers.

? Maintain content in current course offerings.

? Identifies learning objectives.

? Evaluates training and development effectiveness by assessing trainer/trainee performances.

? Maintains knowledge of training and performance improvement methods by attending seminars, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

? Other duties or projects as required.

 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Managerial and training experience preferably in a FDA or similarly regulated industry.

 

 

 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

 

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

? Excellent writing skills.

? Excellent presentation skills.

? Demonstrated office software and computer skills.

? Demonstrated project management and coordination skills.

? Proven analytical ability.

? Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
