Title: Training Specialist

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide analysis, consultation and training to new clients during application conversions to ensure accurate data conversion and satisfied clients.

Position Purpose:
To deliver high-quality PC and Web-based training programs on BANKLINK products to client banks, corporate customers and internal staff.

Primary Working Relationships:
o Financial Institution Clients, including Product, Sales and Support Staff
o BANKLINK staff, including Relationship Management, Sales, Implementation, Distributor Support, and Technical Customer Service.

Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high quality trainings on BANKLINK electronic banking products to financial institution Clients and corporate customers; some new Client training to be delivered, but the key focus is on refresher and new product training for existing Clients and reseller banks:
o Work directly with Clients for pre-training needs assessment.
o Utilize existing training curriculum, as developed and approved by Training Manager.
o Adapt training curriculum based on Client needs.
o Deliver instructor-led training at Client sites and in classrooms.
o Provide post-training follow-up.
2. Work closely with Implementation to participate in new distributor kick-off calls, and incorporate training at the "right time" in the implementation process; provide consultative product specialist support, as required.
3. Develop and enhance trainings, materials and procedures in conjunction with new and enhanced BANKLINK product releases; deliver as appropriate.
4. Support Director of Implementation Services in redesigning existing training programs and in enhancing curriculum and materials; provide administrative support, as required.
5. Research new methods of delivering training (e.g., Web, video and/or computer-based training, training games) and evaluate future directions in training.
6. Act as a liaison to provide BANKLINK product management with product feedback (including potential documentation changes) identified through both distributor and internal trainings.
7. Work with Service Engineering reps to identify potential software issues that could be resolved more effectively through training; incorporate changes into training curriculum based on this input.
8. Deliver new employee and basic product training.
9. Create new Internal training programs.
10. Stay current on processes, industry practices, rules and regulations in the areas of cash management by attending meetings, training sessions and reading related materials. Be conversant to the extent that they affect our product offerings.
11. Meet or exceed standards including but not limited to quality, timeliness, escalation, documentation, revenues, and reporting.
12. Prepare timely and accurate expense reports, billing forms and training database entries.
13. Act as an internal BANKLINK resource for researching and answering product questions.
14. Act as backup for other members of Distributor Support, Implementation, and other groups; provide emergency assistance to the hotline, when required.
15. Participate in the QA testing of new products and demonstrations to increase product knowledge and provide critical feedback.
16. Participate in other BANKLINK projects, task forces, and events.
17. As required, work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays for critical projects and necessary travel.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
BA/BS required

Job Related Experience:
3+ year previous training experience
3 years prior relevant business experience
Strong communication and PC skills, with demonstrated platform skills on PC applications
Financial services experience and treasury management product knowledge a plus

7. Ability to interact effectively with and represent BANKLINK to all levels of Client organization.
8. Strong PC skills, with focus on PC and Web applications; ability to troubleshoot PC issues while presenting to Clients.
9. Excellent follow-up skills.
10. Ability to deal with unforeseen issues and circumstances in training and travel in a professional manner.
11. Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and can work independently.
12. Travel requirement approximately 50+%.
