The USC Professional Development is seeking an Training & Development Specialist to join its team.
We are seeking a training and development consultant to join our team at USC. This professional will lead the coordination of our academic Leadership and Development efforts, as USC aspires to reach new levels of academic excellence.
In addition, the incumbent will consult with the university staff and faculty communities to assess professional development needs and to work on challenging internal consulting projects, and will also deliver a wide range of training workshops, such as: new employee orientation, interpersonal and communication skills, supervisory and management skills, and employment practices. Opportunities to take part in the creative development of new and existing programs and to work on specific projects. Must have excellent speaking and facilitation skills, stand-up training experience, complete program development and coordination, and an ability to interact well with a variety of different audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree and three years experience. Experience in developing and conducting training classes and development of instructional materials.
Master?s degree is preferred. Achieve Global certification, prior experience in a higher education setting, and consulting experience are desirable.
