Training & Development Specialist for Elearning

* Design, develop, and implement Web-based e-learning training for a variety of internal audiences and courses.
* Provide internal consulting services to departments within PEM on training which integrates all aspects of job, communication, and business training.
* Support managers in the improvement of business practices through training of employees in organizational development, process improvement, project management, and related techniques.
* Provide training support and coaching to managers and others on an individual basis in performance management, the development and coaching of employees, etc.
* Present business proposals and/ or training to employees and management at all levels of the organization as necessary.
* Some travel required.

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, or other relevant area required. MBA preferred.
* Minimum of three years work experience in a major corporate training environment emphasizing elearning design and development as well as some experience with classroom presentation and OJT design and development. Proficiency with at least one e-learning authoring package (Toolbook preferred), and DDI or other vendor certification preferred.
* Significant non-training work experience in a business area such as operations, program management, administrative management, etc preferred.
* Knowledge of performance management, competency based personnel and training systems, instructional design (traditional and e-learning) required.
* Knowledge of organizational design and development, performance improvement, quality improvement techniques desired.
* Excellent one-on-one and group communication skills with a diverse workforce required. Previous internal consulting experience preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work as a training team member in the design, development and review process.
