Training & Education Initiatives Manager

We are seeking a full-time Training & Education Initiatives Manager. This position will function as part of an interdisciplinary team designed to enhance the quality of services provided by the organization. Specifically, the Training & Education Initiatives Manager is responsible for the design, development and implementation of internal employee training and development programs.  The individual will work closely with all levels of staff to define training needs and provide learning solutions to meet those needs.

Responsibilities will include:

?  Developing new training and educational strategies to support the quality of services and work life in programs located outside of the greater Philadelphia region, including (but not limited to) the creation of local training systems and the application of e-learning technologies;

?  Leading initiatives to foster the development of values-based learning communities across the corporation;

?  Developing and conducting trainings based on Adult Learning principles;

?  Supporting the professional development of internal trainers;

?  Working with programs and operational departments to support skills and team development;

?  Facilitating meetings, retreats, working group processes;

?  Managing specific internal staff development programs, such as (but not limited to) the development of a competency-based Supervisory Skills Certificate Program.

 

Qualified candidates will have:

?  at least 5 years experience in adult learning/training development and facilitation,

?  a clinical/human services background (Master's level preferred);

?  at least 3 years experience in large and small group process facilitation, and project management; 

?  experience with e-learning systems a plus;

?  excellent organizational, written communication and presentation skills;. 

?  ability to think creatively and systemically, build relationships with staff and management at all levels, and attend to details effectively;  and,

?   ability to travel (approx 10-25%) required.
